We have been working on a set of editor improvements that make Katalisx feel easier to use day to day. This update is all about making letter customization more personal, more practical, and less repetitive, whether you are writing something formal for work or putting together a polished personal document.
Draw Your Own Signature
One of the most requested features is finally here. You can now draw your signature directly inside the editor instead of relying only on typed text. It works with a mouse, trackpad, or touch screen, so it is much easier to add something that feels more personal to the final letter.
Once you are happy with the signature, you can save it into the template right away. The editor automatically cleans up the empty space around it so it fits into the layout more naturally instead of looking oversized or off-center.
Tip: If the signature block already contains an image, the editor automatically treats it as an uploaded signature so you can jump straight into previewing or resizing it.
Upload Your Organization Logo
Templates with logo areas now support direct image upload, which makes branding much easier. If you are working on a professional or company-facing letter, you can drop in a logo and see it reflected in the preview immediately.
We also added simple width and height controls so you can size the logo properly without fighting the layout. If you do not have an image ready yet, the text fallback still works, so the template stays usable either way.
Three Signature Modes
The signature block now supports three real working modes, and each one fits a different editing habit. Text mode is the fastest option when you just want to type your name and let the editor apply a professional signature-style font automatically. Draw mode opens a dedicated signing canvas, which is useful when you want something that feels closer to a real hand-drawn signature. Upload mode is there for people who already have a scanned or saved signature image and want to place it directly into the letter.
What makes this part of the editor more useful is that the modes are not just cosmetic tabs. In draw mode, you can sketch directly on the canvas, clear it if it looks wrong, and save only when you are happy with the result. When you save, the editor trims the empty transparent space around the drawing automatically, then scales it down to fit the signature block more cleanly. In upload mode, you also get width and height controls, so resizing a signature is much easier without breaking the layout. That makes the signature tool feel a lot more practical in real use, especially when you are switching between quick documents and more formal letters.

Infinite Scroll on the Templates Page
As the template library keeps growing, we wanted browsing to feel lighter too. The templates page now loads results in batches as you scroll instead of trying to render everything at once. That means faster initial loading and a smoother experience, especially on smaller devices.
Faster PDF Generation
We also moved away from the older server-side PDF flow and leaned into the browser's own print engine instead. In practice, that makes PDF generation feel much faster and more direct. What you see in the editor is much closer to what you get when you export.
When you click generate, the editor hides the blue selection outlines and editing UI automatically before printing. That way the final output stays clean without extra steps on your side.
Author Attribution and Trust
We also added clearer author attribution across templates. Templates now show the Katalisx Editorial Team name with a link to the About page, so it is easier to understand who is behind the content and how the platform is evolving.
Bug Fixes and Cleanup
Alongside the bigger feature work, we also cleaned up a number of smaller issues across the platform. Some of those changes are not flashy, but they make the editor and template pages feel more stable overall.
- ✓ Cleaned up page title consistency across key routes.
- ✓ Improved thumbnail alt text for better SEO consistency.
- ✓ Updated internal category handling for request flows.
We are still improving things based on feedback and real usage. If there is a template type or editor feature you want next, send it through the Template Requests page. We do read those and use them to help decide what to build next.
